The magical colors in the bivouac above Lake Ohrid, on Albanian side above Pogradec. From the pastures of mountain dairy Kot (Coot in italian) you can see the whole valley of Rezija as clear as day Entering Kurdistan equals entering mountains. Not much forest though, but still green mountains with plenty of water. Seeing those bridges carrying trails separating from the main road and leading somewhere into the mountains always makes me wish I had the time to explore them all. When leaving Takht-e Soleyman in search for a place to set up bivouac over the night we met a flock of sheep crossing the road. Waiting for chicken kebab in Meybod The ancient Zoroastrian pilgrimage site of Chak Chak nests high about the desert plains
